Just sent this to the former owner of the Vec, the guy who still hasn't bothered to apply for/send me the V5 yet. Does this seem subtle enough then?

Hi Dean,

I hope you don’t mind me emailing, but since you haven’t bothered to reply to a text in a couple of weeks, and I have a car I can no longer drive, I thought I might be best dropping you an email to work out where I stand.

As per the last couple of texts, the situation is now completely unacceptable. I can appreciate delays can happen, but that’s now 7 weeks I’ve had the car and I still have no V5 and thus no means to drive the car. I’ve more or less had to give up part time work for just now, and due to public transport (or lack of it up here) I’m having to cut my main working hours to. I’m now at the point I’m losing money by the week and I’m hoping you can maybe get in contact and confirm when you applied for the replacement logbook, as just now I don’t believe you have. Maybe you can confirm otherwise?

My phones on, if you want to give me a call or something.

Does stuarty knows him? As he did say he is a respectable owner on the vec forum ? why not try and go onto the vec forum ?

It sounds ok to me.

Did you write another email? y'know, the cathartic one you don't dare send ;)

And can we see it?

I sent a text to him on Thursday that was possibly slightly harsher than my email. The thing is, and you'll know this living in Ellon, public transport here is a joke. Trying to get ANYWHERE is a nightmare.

Ming - it's been on VVOC - and in fact today he was named and shamed. Trobule is, the guys clearly a tool and doesn't give. I'd imagine he's got word of all this, but it obviously hasn't changed a thing!

Yeah, I find it's easier to take a day off work if I have no car rather than get public transport.

Don't parking tickets and speeding fines get sent to the last registered keeper? Not that I'm suggesting anything of course
