the ECU may be the same, but the map would be different surely. I don't recall ever hearing of it being tested on an 899.

But then dan did say a 93/94 899.. so spanner in the works on that one!

Same ECU model, that means the map must contain the data stored in the same way (same map layout) but different values, in the same way the Punto 60 ECU is the same model as the P55, but with a different map.

The 93/94 899cc is the 6F ECU I should imagine, and thats similar but fundamentally different to the 16F I think, I think the difference being that the 16F can run with the immobilizer, but the 6F cant

yeah, thats what i said - it'd work but the maps different, so unpredictable results!
