McCormick, drunk & no insurance

McCormick, drunk & no insurance

Those of you who were willing to jail him immediately may be interested to hear that the no insurance has been dropped as he does have cover.

He may or may not be guilty of the other charges but, unlike most of the posters here, the justice system needs proof before either verdict or sentence.[/QUOTE

Bloke is a tosser like any other drink driver, he should never be allowed to drive again, nor should any other drink driver.

Reality is he probably won't even go to prison.

If he behaves he'll be out before he's 30, that's not a prison sentence that's just hanging about for a bit.

Justice has been served however IMO it should have been twice that for killing those two little boys and severley injurying their dad.

Just a question for those with a bot more knowledge than me, does his 4 year driving ban start now or after he gets out?

I think it runs at the same time.

Now I don't see the point of that because he aint going to drive in prison is he so its not really any point to it. Maybe he'll still be banned for 2-3 months when he gets out.

As for saying his career is over when he gets out. Lee Hughes ring any bells? The ex Cov and WBA player, got a contract with Oldham I think when he got out!

Don't think you're the first person to realise that bans alongside prison sentances don't make sence. Especially when to be fair, he should be banned for life. He's obviously doesn't have the respect or attitude needed to be allowed to drive.

Or the consideration for other people and affecting the lives of others

W***** :bang:

It starts at the point of sentencing. Just one of the inadequacies of banning and imprisoning someone at the same time.

if i was him i would just claim its got nothing to do with hand cuffs thats a commonly used celebration in many sports...
