Technical Mayo - HG or...?

Cheers for all the help / suggestions :) Ordered the Forte Flush.
I drove the car today for the first time properly since i posted about the issue (was a short-ish run again). Started the car, a bit of misfiring for a few seconds but that stopped and everything was fine for the whole drive (no engine light or misfiring).. However mayo is already back in the oil cap. It's only about a mm thick, if that, but it's easily seeable. Should it be back so quick?

Ill ring up the mechanic and get him to give it a lookover anyway (compression test and fault code - hopefully he'll do it for free).

Yes
Why?
Your oil is holding water vapour
this is why you need long runs of the engine to allow the water to evaporate out
However your obviously getting to the point of it doing so - but then switching off

A thin layer will always rebuild - its getting cold outside.....
