Matching an amp to this sub..

Hi guys!

Wouldn't mind a hand in sorting an amp to go with it, some of the ones I've seen are £500+

Whats the min you think I could get 1 for? Not interested it paying loads more money for a small difference, just something to run them at an acceptable level, cheers

I've got all BOSS gear in my Sei, good quality for a decent prices, what do you think of this one?

Yeah that's looks decent, doesn't mention the rms power at 2ohms though, should I be looking for an amp that's 2x1000w rms to supply the 2 subs? I think around that price would be my limit but £250 isn't that bad

Get a mono amp but you need to check the impedance of the coils and work out your final load first.
As for an amp I would scour eBay. That boss one doesn't look great at all. Claims are too high for the price but £250 is a lot of money to through at a paper weight if you get what I mean.

Stick to big bass brands and you'll be fine. I'm trying to put together a list of good brands ATM.

thanks mate, so is it a mono 2x2000w RMS sub i'm looking for?

might wait for something to come up second hand soon as i know what i'm looking for, still a bit of a noob tbh!

also, the amount of power i'm going to need is a concern, i know i'll need a battery in the boot running through a split charge relay but if the alternator can't keep up the extra battery will only pro long the inevitable.
