master key

i have just bought a seicento w-reg but i only got one key with it and its blue do you need a master key to get one cut or can they cut one from this i think the key i have has a chip in it any help please on how to get a spare

I went into Stoneacre Liverpool 'cos I only got 2 blue keys with my 98 Cinq'. The boyfriend of the girl I bought it off (she wasn't there at the time of sale) mentioned a red key but couldn't be certain if it ever actually existed! Stoneacre told me that it shouldn't be a problem on a 98 onwards car. Fingers crossed.

If you have a C in a traingle and a number 2 on the key you have a code 2 key system so there is no red key at all although you will be missing 1 blue key

If you dont have a C in a triangle and a number 2 on it then you are missing a blue key and a red key

Dont be cut up about no red key though

but how do i get another key cut if i have no master key or if i need another blue one were and how do you get these cut

If its a code 2 system, its a fiat only job

If its code 1 then i think you can get one cut from timpsons or places like that, not quite sure, do a search of forum using the search facility
