Excellent that means I should have the adapter for a cd changer in my boot...I haven't spotted it yet.

Thankyou for the help!

ps, just to re itterate what Jay said, dont be afraid to ask

Nope - MKII in at least March 1999 :) My old 80sx was registered then

my bad, should have stuck with 99 like i was going to :)

The 99 R-Reg 1.8's are funny cars, because this was the change around year from MK1 to MK2 so they have some bits that are mark 2 and some bits that are mark 1, if the changer is not there i have a origional Fiat HU with adapter control and cable for sale

I thought R-reg was 97-98, in '99 it was S,T & V reg. I'm sure the Mk II was like Wimmy says, March/April '99.

Correct, the official launch of the Mk2 was March 99 with the T Plates, as I got mine at a discount as it was a MK1 they needed to shift. So mine is a Mk1 on a T plate, but actually has the Mk2 engine and mechanicals, just the Mk1 Interior and Exterior.

;)

There was a T-reg 1.8 in my local scrap yard. The interior and the fact it had 1.8 on the wing gave away it was a MK1.

Musta been a late registration.

Hi all,

I found the cable last night, yay! I noticed that looking at photos of the sony model changer on ebay there are two, what I think, are audio cables(looks like phono) and the din connector. Will the din connection carry the audio signal? I'm confused by these extra leads

Cheers
