I am hoping that cures my cooling system woes...

Hi Jon, the fan doesn't come on...it used to. I still think my problem is electrical but the thermostat was so cheap, I couldn't resist it!!!

Had the rear shocks off again this weekend, they have been re-sanded and re-primed and I am spraying them in FIAT racing red. They are going to look awesome!

Thanks madrat, I'm a little way off before it has an every day driver feel about it but it is starting to come together.

I think the rear shocks look really cool in red

Yes indeed, will be sorted before the car is put away for the winter.

Fault re-diagnosed as wiring - probably an earth. I should have gone down the cheap route first!

Having the day off today and have been busy with the paint brush.

First off, I have re-painted the leaf springs in black - wow! I bow to your judgement FF, black was definately the way forward.:worship:

I was looking at StuartL's mark 1 blog on his website the other day and I noticed that his grey underseal extends into the door sills - I like the look of this so I am carrying that look over to my car too. Really like that.
