I'm curious... wouldn't side skirts, front spoilers/lips and maybe even the rear for a Bravo/Brava fit the Marea? Just that I've always thought the Marea is a little based around them.

Front end is pretty much the same, not sure about side skirts. There are a few sites that do nice boot spoilers.

e.g. These do Lester http://www.gsrengineering.com/engineering/pages/products_frm.html

These do standard kit and tools, etc.

Hmm... Thanks for those links.

Problem is, I'm a bit lost as to where to start. First time, first car, first modding "project" etc...

Get some light brows. The look good, are easy to fit and don't cost a lot.

What about the interior? Gearstick gaiter and a gear knob. Handbrake is a pain to sleeve though. I got a Richbrook gaiter and had to stich in a gusset cut from the old gearstick gaiter. The gaiter now comes right over the handle and looks rather phallic. [}:)]

Wimmy has replaced his door fabric and it looks great. I am thinking of doing mine in baby blue leather... erm... ice blue. ;)

First performance mod should be an induction kit. IMHO of course.

I had a look at http://www.directcarparts.co.uk/ The light masks look nicer IMO. How would I paint them?

Interior is a weird one. I've got a few ideas for that, but the car was a work horse before i started driving it so scratches and bits half-broke are about. Will think of something soon.

Got links to Wimmy's photos or something please?

Induction and custom remap are probably things I'll do, after my wheels are sorted and the new year is here.

Thanks for the tips, it's got me thinking :)

Check my site on www.dave-cummings.co.uk/cars and digimods on www.digimods.co.uk check the tutorials.

Have a play.

Agree about light masks, (thats what I meant :I), prob one of first exterior bits i'll buy. Should be easy to paint, they are small enough to fit inside a cardboard box so you could spray them in the garage or back yard.

Don't know if its possible to remap a '98 Marea, mines a '97 and it's too old. :(

Got more additives than fuel in my tank.
