Hi everybody, and thanks for all of the invaluable tips and info. I have spent many a happy hour browsing this forum, and it has proved invaluable.
I hope im posting in the correct area.
I am the proud owner of a 1.6 sx Marea Weekend, 99 I think, and have been abroad for the last year, and the poor old car has been left standing around. Im in the process of getting it roadworthy. It passed the MOT yesterday, so things arnt too bad.
Now, I have a couple of dud injectors, I think. I have performed the ohms test, and 2 and 3 were below par. The engine sounds like a diesel and the dreaded engine management light is on
This morning I took the upper manifold off, disconnected the leads from the loom, undid the two torx screws, but I just could not shift the fuel rail, it seems stuck. Its my first time doing this, so I did not want to force the thing and break it.
Am I doing something wrong, or have I missed something ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I have searched for advice on the removal of the rail, but most post just say slip it out, and that's not happening
Cheers
