General Marea Dipstick Question !

Good morning all,

Just a quickie - Just tried to check oil on 2001 Marea 1.6 100 W/End that I've just bought, but the bottom part of the dipstick appears to have snapped off, so I can't get a reading.

I'm going to get a new one from a scrappers but does it have to be from my exact model/year of Marea ? Or, would all dipsticks from all Marea's fit ? Or, would dipsticks from other Fiats fit too ?

I ain't got a scooby, so look forward to your usual excellent replies FF !! :worship:

Providing the dipstick is from the same engine it should be fine. If you want to be really sure when you get it do an oil change. Put in the exact quantity of oil for your engine and see where it comes on the replacement dipstick.
I just hope for your sake that the missing part is not still in the hole.
