General Marea 1.8 16v, 115 ELX,W reg

Hi All

Fiat newbie here, is this the place to find answers to a few little niggling problems etc with my new car ? Would appreciate any help.
I only have a RED key to use for this car, will this cause any issues ?
Also i am finding it difficult to locate a standard equip spec list, any ideas?
The keycode light is on when the car is cold, is this to do with using the RED key ?

i only have red key for mine as well light comes on for a second or 2 every time i start car ben like it since i brought car a year ago without problem

The red key is the master and is needed to program replacement blue keys. I would get a copy cut ASAP and use that instead of the red, keep that somewhere safe, and where you can remember it! If you do not have the procedurelet me know I can scan and post it.

Do not make the mistake of letting a shop simply copy the red key electronic code to a blue key.

Using the red key to start your car has some kind of limit and or damages the immobiliser. After you use it a certain number of times it locks/breaks the immobiliser.
