Oh yes, you're not expecting this curmudgeonly old fool to start talking about styling right? Well, relax - it's not HID bulbs, Fly-eyes or bubble-gum stickers in the engine bay.

Now we're a 2 Panda family, the only 'styling' issue I had with the 1.2 models was the 'Rain man' style rear bumper, which shows all the gubbins - most particularly the exhaust.

My solution:

1. Some matt-black spray I found in the garage
2. A cheap chrome tailpipe for £5 off ebay

To me, it looks neater. Whatcha think?

I think you've been reading my mind! I've been thinking about painting the 'exposed' exhaust. Looks much neater doesn't it? I'm not sure why they couldn't tuck it behind the bumper like on Punto.

Looks good! I painted mine matt black too, how did you do the top of the silencer?

Errr.......I was going only for the aesthetic rather than the thorough.......soo, it's really just the sides and ends.

The chrome pipe is about 45mm by 110mm long
