Wondered if anyone has any words of wisdom.

Had a smell of fuel in 1.4 punto when in use. Followed the fuel system around and found a burst in the fuel line spraying out as the pipe drops and turns from the tank to the trunking along the underbody.

Looks like a continous pipe from the engine bay up to the tank but need to get it elevated and the wheel arch covers out to see connectors i guess.

Can’t seem to find the part from a google search so really looking for advice on sourcing it ( fiat specialist?) and any advice for best way to access. Currently thinking on stands on one side with wheel arch trims out might reveal connectors?

Only experience of similar was a Fiat Doblo 1.9 diesel with twin moulded pipes , flow and return , it was leaking at one of the connector seals and Fiat wanted £200 for the complete assembly.
As that model didn't have a pump in the tank being non turbo relying on the injector pump to "suck " the fuel from the tank I was able to repair with some new rubber fuel line and clips.
However petrol being more volatile than diesel a new genuine pipe may be the safest option.
As they say "better to be dead before cremation";)

Thanks. Sounds sensible ill see how much fiat want for the part.

A used one is probably @£30

Common enough thing in the panda section..

Does the ePER show it as several sections..or 1 long length??
Thanks hadn't used EPER, it shows it as two pieces with a connector in line with the front wheel joining the front and rear section.

Its a 2012 car but very good chance its the same as the 2005 car on EPER looks much the same.

I'll see if I can track the joint down, fingers crossed as it would make it a whole lot easier I suspect.
