Hi all,

Afer replacing my left rear light with a magneti - marelli one, the boot touches the lamp. I have tried multiple times, about 10 times to take it off and fit it again, is is a very simple process, 2 clips, 2 screws, but somehow I'm screwing it up, I guess. Where do I go wrong? Paint started to chip so i need to fix it.

Useless pictures (and too big, size/resolution, it doesn't help)!
Show us the rear/back of the lamp (remove it) and the car side (what's in there, in the lamp cavity/pocket).
Plus, are you sure this is correct lamp for the "2012" lift? Original or the cheapest "no-name" replacement?
Compare old to new one. Spot the difference.
Also, check if you have those plastic mounts/bushings in place (and you're not double-stacking them if that's even possible: car has old one, and the new lamp has new, or there are already custom DIY washers etc.).

Thanks for the reply.
I compared the old to the new lamp,i cant find any difference. No new plastic washers came with it, but old ones are in place. Lamp is identified by vin number, and is not a cheap one, is is the same part that comes in the fiat box, magneti marelli it jist has the fiat badge scraped. Will post some pictures in the weekend. I have started to suspect 2 culprits, the gasket in the back of the lamp and the boot lid might not be properly aligned, aldough seems to be at the first glance. Will measure it soon.
