I’m just prepping a 2013 1.48v Punto for its MOT and the DRL warning is on the dash. Has been since it was purchased last year, not sure how that got through the Mot tho.
(It’s my daughters boyfriends car)I peered in the headlamp and could only see single filament bulbs so duly bought some 21/5w bulbs however when I pulled out the bulb holder it is for a single 21w bulb with only 2 contacts and the dual filament bulb will not fit. I can only assume that the headlamps are from an earlier model without DRL’s.if I swap out with some later model headlamps is there anything else I need to check? I’ve looked at the Haynes manual wiring diagram and can’t work out which symbol is for the DRL (2 possibles). Any advice greatly appreciated.
