Hi All, Bear with me as new to this, Got a 2013 2.3 with an M38 AMT. Got code for faulty gearbox fluid temp sensor but can't find. Any help appreciated. Cheers

Thanks. How accessible is it? Is it an internal or external sensor and what would be involved in replacing it?

It might be an idea to have a lie down under your van to find it. If you enter your chassis number in 'ePER' (higher up this page, top left, black banner) you should be directed to the correct part.

Here's an example - which may or may not be the correct part for your model...

Hi,
I am concerned for you. you may be going down the wrong route trying to find a sensor in gearbox rather than the robot actuator. Even then the temperature may be calculated by the transmission ecu rather than directly measured.
Almost 100% certainty you will need the tools to connect to the transmission ecu read live data and see what is going on.
You would be very sensible to try and find an expert or expert member in your county to consult (Fiat dealers very often not the experts with selespeed and want to replace everything at great expense )
There are a couple of members in your country who have had to become knowledgeable in selespeed to fix problems .
There is also member in uk who fixed a number of problems with the transmission wiring harness /connectors.

But fingers xed it is faulty sensor/wiring and you can find/ fix
What code was read?
What code reader was used?

Regards
Jack

Screen print from Multiecuscan below. I assume that water temperature is not the only parameter used in the calculation.
