Looks very good, but I wonder how it looks with the top down. Perhaps you need to invest in wheels like mine so there's some black to pick up on once the summer comes.

Excellent photos. I thought your red was very... red. So it is re-sprayed to be super red then. Mirrors look good when you see them.

I wanna know how LRB avoids Speed cameras, not that I'd ever wish him any bad omens, your annual mileage must be high ish, besides I couldn't imagine him transgressing laws:devil:. I reckon you use a SatNav to be aware. I on the other hand as a convicted arch criminal have to attend a Speedaware course at £95 for 2.5hrs !! to bodyswerve 3 points. My crime.......all of 36 mph on the Old Kent Rd....I will learn the error of my ways. As an aside my son in law hired a 1400cc Kawasaki for a blast and was pictured at 104mph by the CHiPs in SanFran. It was 4th of 6 gears !!! Second shot was 60mph. Good brakes. In the USA 100mph is the line twixt Crim & Bad Crim. He awaits his fate. He now has a Porsche For Sale in anticipation, a slight lie, the suspension is too harsh and SanFran roads potholed. Happy motoring. May the Runes keep LRB ever free from conviction.

I think maybe he sticks a copy of your numberplate over his own...

As a law obiding member of the UK motoring community the bib and speed camera's are not somthing I worry about!

Nice , almost as nice as LRB!

That said the 450 miles a week is beginning to take its toll, the front of LRB is beginning to look a bit chipped Also not as shiney as last year due to lack of time to polish and masses of road dirt, must try and put a weekend by to get her back to scratch!

Please organize a search party for LRB his absence is unauthourised and wholly out of character. Maybe LRB broke down and he's trapped lonely in the SW, maybe he's driving a humble normal car or not a red one and is too ashamed to post. Either way a B forum without LRB just isn't so normal.

Good news - LRB flew through the MOT with no problems at all

Bad news - looks like I will be joining the 2 mill+ again on Monday

Hi LRB And everyone else of course. Sorry to hear about end of contract! If it's any consolation ISTTR is also out of work at the moment That'll teach him to work in the automotive industry in a recession . . .

Get-together sounds great - it's been tooooo long since last Feb. Unless you all got together in the meantime while I've been being an anti-social git? No excuse, just busy with work, life, family etc. plus crap non-B-friendly weather of course. Better now though and finally got the top down at the weekend. B is in need of some TLC, picked up a couple of door chips this winter Would love to go for a total re-spray but not an option right now. And no puns about changing the colour completely!

I AM BACK!! - thanks to everyone for the eMails etc - I have not fallen off the face of the Earth - just been busy earning cash!

Hi all and sorry for such a long time away from the forum. Before Christmas I spent almost every waking hour looking for a new contract and then I have been working away from home since Jan - which meant I had no time to play with the b! My contract finished last Friday and I don't have anything else lined up (yet) so should be more visible!

I have a few weeks work around the house to catch up with (yes, decorating the hall is one of those tasks!) and then should be back in circulation 'proper'.

I have to admit that I kept totally clear of the forum as there is nothing more frustrating than not having the time to read the posts properly and no time to post.....

Hope you all have fun at the meet today and look forward to catching up and meeting some of the new members..........

Once I have things settled at home again I will try to arrange a Virginia Waters get together - anyone up for that?

Welcome back Old Fruit, I needed you to bounce ideas off. Whilst you were FF active hardly anything died. Since AWOL..:- I've played new o/s/r swing arms, wheel bearings, new back exhaust, mended cam shaft cover (glued! might last) washer bottles siiconed (works) as per DTR recc. Throttle cable broke. Still have 1 n/s inner drive shaft boots and a outer o/s to fix.
