Actually guys your all wrong,it was made to hold a tyre pressure gauge which is fitted as standard in the US & S.African markets. If you look in the Fiat accessory catalogue you will see there is a tyre pressure gauge available for this holder about £14.99 I think, might have to add VAT on that though.Bit expensive if you ask me!

How very interesting, the UK miss out on all the cool things! Its like a mate at work who had a jap import mk1 mr2, originally they came with a emergency flare in the glovebox!

PMSL :D Wonder how many of you looked out your accessory catalogues! ;)
Nice one @T14086 (y) That should shut up some of the wise-arses and also explains why there's a pen recess in the central console (at least in my JTD).

Must admit though, it's not in my catalogue and I kinda think the extra pen would be more useful.....and the party idea doesn't work either

There is a recess like that in the mk1 punto, didn't even notice it till last weekend when cleaning the car.
There was no pen in mine (or pressure guage) just dust. :(
Btw, that price mentioned for a tyre guage is scandalous, they sell them in the pound shop.

:chin: I beg to differ... I don't have a tyre pressure gauge in mine and I am in S. Africa. When I took delivery of my car it came with a Fiat pen in that holder. I chucked it, 'cause it stopped working about a month after I got the car :D
