How do i know how many amps the split charge relay needs to be?

What is 0 guage wiring in mm. cant find on t'interent.

Any recommendations where i can get a relay from.

Am i better running 0awg from alternator to batteries and then 4awg from 2nd battery to amps or another way? Stu suggested saving wire and doing it another way but not quite sure how.

Would i need a special switcch capable of handling high power for a battery cut off?


Thanks for any hints tips, etc. Am learning very quickly.

A relay has an internal switch so it is not high power i just used 16 gauge wire for the switch you will see when you get the relay.

180 Amp relay will be more than enough

Im not sure how i told you to do it different but o Gauge all round £7p/m at knukonceptz or Voodoo do some on Ebay for £25 for 5m
