Hi at all,
yes its true: the worldwide Spider Register also lists totalled or scrapped Spiders, junkyard finds and other "lost" cars!
Actually we got ~550 scrapped cars and ~1,100 cars with unknown status.

We got various requests of previous Spider owners and could tell them news about their cars. Otherwise we can show some history (back to 2006) and old pics of new Spider owners and their cars.

Any informations, pics, VINs or chassis numbers are appreciated!

Hi,
Sadly found these two 124 Spiders in a junk yard in Oakland, California. they were marked as a 1970 and a ‘79. Chassis numbers on photos attached.

I want to salvage parts off junkyard finds to rescue something from the crusher. Any advice about priority items to salvage?

Good morning,
thanks for the car data aka pics! Cars are added (offline).

The 1970 Spider got some rare items (back lights and side marker lights only model year 1970).
Clocks are searched for too..

Thanks for the reply. Interesting fact about the taillights and side markers! I’ve been looking for rust-free hoods and rocker panels to use on my own ‘73, and I’ve been wondering if I should continue to collect good ones when I find them and try to pass them along to people.

I went to the register’s entry page and added one more I’d found in a junk yard, and my own project car too. Thanks for keeping that Register!

Jason
