sounds like there working then
when they bind badly they got hot very quickly and don't work very well - normally.

Hey guys!
I have just got back onto the internet. I will try out all these things and see if it helps. The power seems to be juddery and is easier to stall. Are these common symptoms?

Fuel test!
I tested my fuel consumption and here are the results:
I put in £35 which more or less a full tank.in fact it was.
I got 290 miles out of it. It is a 1.8 HLX. How many miles should I be expecting? I did not hammer it plus I used the motorway alot abd I did little journeys. But I did not hammer it in anyway.

I think i get around 340 or so out of my 1.8 now after it has been serioulsy tuned...so somethings wrong man...

290 miles from £35 is on the low end of normal. If i had been driving moderately hard thats what i would expect to get.
I normally get between 80 and 100 miles for £10 of fuel. Dependant on how i drive and the tyoes of journeys.
