Hi,
are in possession of a Fiat Stilo 1.9 MJT, several months ago, after having had problems with the EGR valve for 2 times, I decided to close mechanically, now about 6 months later I realized
1) of a bit of sweat oil, which seems abundant in the long run, also seems to escape near the cap that I created to close the EGR valve,
2) Increase the average fuel consumption, from the instrument panel, before I consumed 16Km / l but now 15Km / l, whereas I always do the same distance and in the same places;
I want to know:
it is possible that it was the closing of the valve to cause these drawbacks?
is just the point of closing the EGR valve as in the photo?
how can I fix this?
