right alpine amp and its got 2x50watt RMS, so can i use normal leads or do i need the thick wires for the speakers and power leads??

normal amp wiring kit should be fine
Power would obviously be thicker than the speaker cable.
Cabe used for power should be rated higher than the amp can draw so that no fires happen.

o deer so i wouldnt be able to power it by hacking in at the rear wiper power as it has skinny wiring 
dont even attempt it, i am a bodger and i know what can happen if you cut corners
buy an amp wiring kit, and run a fused power cable to amp and make sure you earth it in a suitable place

i wont bother with that then, il see if i can get a wiring kit but thats if i win the alpine amp
the 29.99 kits from halfrauds are perfectly fine.
OR ebay. V cheap ones on there.
as for speaker wires, dont use the thin bell wire, why have a decent amp and speakers being let down by the wires
how much wire are you after, i must have a mile of all kinds of fused power cables, earthing, flat speaker, Y splitters, rca leads, distribution blocks, etc... from when i stripped it all out my sei

I have about 5 miles of unused bell wire. All its usefull for is remote wires that dont break and wiring things like lights....Richer sounds is very cheap for speaker cabling. But if Gaz is anything like me he will have miles of it spare. I'll have to take a photo of my room at the moment while im redoing my install.
