I have a Panda, 2210 reg, when we got it we didnt realise it has no door buttons so i cant lock myself inside now, our old punto had central locking but had buttons so i could lock my doors, any way i can lock myself in ..this is for my own safety by the way, lot of handbag grabs been going on and ive always locked myself inside when im alone..ideas anyone ???

Driving through one part of town here, we ALWAYS close the windows to a teeny, tiny gap and lock the doors. You know the little handle thing you pull to open the door? Try pushing that instead when you're sat inside...

If the above don't work, press the lock button on your remote

If you don't have central locking, wind down the window and lock the door with the key :D

My 2005 sporting flips the other way - if you look through the car at the oposite door while locking you can see it flip :)

Thanks to all who replied, works a treat...feel a lot safer now but feel a bit of a fool for not thinking of that myself xx

actually, i recently found the same trick with the internal locking and am well chuffed as partners toyota aygo doesn't have this function & as i use the 'other' key I cant press the button to lock.

i feel much safer in my little panda..
