I am able to unlock the rear cargo doors on my 2017 Doblo Maxi using the switch located on the drivers armrest, but I can’t relock these doors using the same switch. Is this normal or is there a fault?

I have just checked and that is the same as my 2010 Doblo Maxi1.6, so I would take it as normal.
I only have manual keys not "blipper" type so turn key in lock, drivers lock unlocks both front doors, passenger front only unlocks passenger front door, I can unlock rear and side sliding doors using key in back door, but to lock all doors I have to use the drivers door lock and key turning.
As you have said switch on drivers armrest only unlocks rear not locking.
