Hi guys,

I have a leak from an unknown pipe, anyone knows what it is? I checked the Haynes manual but I didn't see a diagram pointing it out. This was taken after I drove about 20km.

Edit: This is behind the battery, on the passenger's side. The battery is at the bottom of the pic and I think the horn is in the top left corner.

May be completely wrong but on a mk2 the washer bottle is in that area? Have you considered that?

Do you mean the wiper washer bottle, where you put in the fluid to spray on your windscreen? That's towards the right of the pic.

I would check the the scutter drain, they get clogged up with small leaves ect but i would also reach down and put some on your fingers (when engine is cold) and rub it between finger and thumb, have a look at colour and the smell of the liquid :)

That is the air conditioning drain pipe, it's supposed to drip water, when the air con is running. If it's dripping and you are not running the air con then that raises some different questions

If it's the aircon drain pipe then no worries... how about that red tube? I don't have another picture but the other end plugs into the engine block. I find it weird that it's dangling down there and connects to nothing...
