linux programming help..

ok, not for me but for a friend..

he's got a problem with bluetooth not communicating properly with linux. Apparently bluetooth can see computer and vice versa, but there's a problem inbetween.

if that doesnt make sense i'll copy and paste what he means, so hopefully you'll understand

can anyone help, it's quite urgent.

ie there "connecting" or "pairing" but not sending any data or are they not pairing at all????

also can you tell me what version or distro of linux it is???possible aid....

they're pairing but not sending data.

its on ubuntu.

do you know what it is connecting to phone etc. phone model can decide whether it would work or not looking on ubuntu forum....
