A pretty crap review, really
Looks like the writer doesn't quite know what 'naturally aspirated' means - it seems to be used in comparison with fuel injection. Did the 1.1 actually come as a 'Start' - I think not - and Uno 70 buyers get the choice of fuel injected SX or Turbo models - what?
We all know that the Uno Turbo (fuel injected, of course) is a totally different kind of car to the 70 - it's a case of either buying an Uno Turbo, or buying a 'normal' Uno.
And what is that statement later about 'you'd be wise to steer clear of the petrol turbos, most of which will have been thrashed to near-death'...
Cliches or otherwise, tell me this - have you ever known a hard-driven FIAT that was in worse condition than a poorly-looked-after, gently-driven FIAT?
We get a statement about the Peugeot 205 being nicer to drive - then later it's the 106 and the AX - something suggests a bias for French cars to me?
We could have had more colourful descriptions of where to look for rust, and what kind of a cop-out is it to say that Unos have 'electrical headaches' with no more details than that...
Also, a few positives about the fuel economy (ESPECIALLY for the Turbo models, in relation to the performance, 38mpg is amazing) wouldn't have gone amiss.
Ah well...
