Someone mentioned in a previuos thread that Lidl were doing clear indicator bulbs today - so I went and go some £2.99 for a pair. I wanted some for my rear lights too but I striped the thread on the screws trying to get one of the rear ligt clusters off!

Any way I've heard on here it's especially difficult to change any of the front bulbs in the Panda - especially if you have the Air Conditioning pipes (mine's an Eleganza sp it does) I didn't have any trouble at all it took about a minute each side if that to change them. I changed them on my Hyundai Getz and it was much more involved!

Anyway the new lights are brilliant and look fantastic - go get some! :slayer:

Bought some and will fit them tomorrow if my replacement side light bulb turns up. Kinda wired pearl look rather than clear, should look ok in the car though.

Yeah from certain angles they look orange and then from others they look blue - still brilliant for the price though - Lidl/Aldi rocks! :slayer:

agree with lidl, check the offers that started yesterday, 10/04....the wheel brace at 3 squid is well worth it. (y)

I have done the rears and will do the fronts when I get my replacement sidelight bulb as I can't be bothered to play with the bulbs in the front more than I have to. Reckon the fronts will look better.

BTW a total whore doing the rears. First 3 screws were ok but the lower one of the 4 inside was rusted solid on both sides and just twisted off even with WD-40. Advise to anyone on here would be to take yours off soon and refit with copper slip unless they are seized already.

The front bulbs on my Cinq are a bit of a bugger to fit ... managed to dislodge the reflectors and the parking light on the nearside is obstructed by the ECU wiring. Managed to actually lose TWO bulbs into the unit !!

:D just fitted the lidl clear indicator bulbs on my 100 hp, doddle to fit, under 10 mins. brighter than the original and look a million miles better. check there web site out for this weeks offers. ps...I dont work for them. :p

On the Cinquecento? How did you manage that?

You take the spring off, push/pull the indicator out forwards and it plugs into the bottom...

Just fitted some to mine (front), they look so much better than the big orange bulb fitted as standard.
I wouldn't have known about them had i not read this post.
Thanks.(y)

You are most welcome - if it weren't for this sight I would have missed out on a lot of valuable info on my Panda! Lidl did some headlight bulbs not long back and I brought some then - they were osram and they were tinted so the light was white - they were excellent and gave much better illumination and only cost £2.99.

I've just ordered some Front Indicator Silvervision bulbs and some osram +90%.. The only thing is I can't find any for the side indicators. Any ideas where to get non orange when off side indicator bulbs? Or even the bulb type so I can look?

Thanks in advance

I've just ordered those.. Although they're for the front, I am after some clear bulbs for the side indicators which are located on the wings.. Any ideas anyone?
