LG Arena no text msg reader

I have paired, downloaded phone book and call voice call all with the fone. but i cannot figure out how to get the text reader to work! i have had people send me msgs whilst connected, they show up on the phone but doesnt work with the reader!

any ideas anyone?

have you gone into the settings and programmed the B&M to read messages?
If not it wont.

My Arena works perfectly with 500/Mito/Bravo/159/Brera

i shall give it another go, at least i know the Arena should work so thats a start.

ive tried again to get it to read msgs and no joy. the signal type is on and the phone is connected but it still wont read. any more ideas? do i need to set up something on my fone? am stumped.
also do u have any problems with sound quality with the b&m? when i ring people it sounds far away and has a lot of squeeling and crackerling. i am less then impressed with the system at the minute!

hmmmm how odd.
Mine just paired up instantly with full read out etc.
I know on the Alfa MiTo though it wont read out and cannot work out why.

Fiat systems though work perfectly.
Might be worth going to ask a dealer there to have a gander at it, unless I can physically see it then it's hard to work out what other bits can need changing

i took the car back to the dealer, turns out i haven't even made the first payment on the car and already i need bits replacing!

new wiper arm as it snaps when the wipers are turned on and leaves a 2 inch streak across the windscreen

and also a new b&m is needed as apparently it has "fried" its self!

i couldn't be more annoyed if i tried! grrrrrrr

your getting them fixed under warranty then?

better than them breaking a few years down the line and having to foot the bill yourself.

most new cars have some sort of issues when they first go on the road

annoying? undoubtedly, but at least the repairs will be free and you shouldn't have to worry about it once its sorted
