I wish you had taken out the bloody tram, no one in Nottingham that I have spoken to wants them, STUPID WASTE of money and I am held up daily by them running their "dry runs" that have last 4 months now and still 2 months to go.

Sounds like you might have gone near "the circuit". There is a very high police presence down their at night apparently - somewhere i stay away from. Near the train station and around there when I pick up my sister on friday nights you usually get cut up by an idiot with a surfboard attached to his tailgate. I was very glad to see 12 police cars around their one night to sort them all out. It isn't a bloody race track!

In terms of generally, I always thought Nottingham had a low police presence on the road and a lack of speed cameras EXCEPT on the ringroad and a few adjoining roads.

LOL Ghost. I got the same being a 17 year old in a Renault Scenic 1.9 TDI - was great though.

Everyone recognised me immediately - not sure whether that's good or bad I still couldn't put names to all your faces though!

Next time I'll probably come alone and join in ALL the fun including the bowling. Penny was great to have with me but she only wanted to come to the meal and by that time most of the day was over!

Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Got back home about 19:15 after diversion to see new niece Totally knackered now and ready for early night.|)

Both me and Marc had a great time and are looking forward to the next meet we can get to.
