General Left hand signals

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my rear left hand signal, I've changed the bulb and fitted a brand new one and still it is telling me to check it. When I go to indicate left it flashes and click much faster then what it should. The new bulb isn't flashing at all.

Sounds like a bad connection between the plug to the light cluster. Take the rear left light cluster out and clean all the connections.

Metal wire brush to get rid of surface rust then contact cleaner (NOT WD40). Have a Google, different people recommend different things

I had a similar problem and turned out to be my earth wire burnt out

Hey thanks for the reply! I checked the earth connector and it was slightly bent downwards using a screwdriver I pushed it back and it works now! Finally all my lights stop flashing!!
