I have found someone who is selling a set. I know the rears will be fine as they are identical to Panda, but what about the front?
The mount at the bottom that goes into the hub has it's two holes right on top of each other on the Panda, but at a slight angle on the Y10. Also, the steering rack ends connect to a lever welded to the shock which is a bit lower than on the Panda.
The coil looks offset on the Y10 too. Anyone with experience of Y10 suspension who knows the Panda would be great. I had a Y10 when I had an all Lancia line up, but it was so reliable that I bearly touched it, which I slightly regret now that I have a Panda that I am trying to make handle even slightly as good as the Y10 did!

As far as I know you would have to reposition the panda steering rack if you try to fit the y10 front struts, if there is room and metal to do so? (n) As is the way of Fiat/lancia's, its all bolt and fit apart from the very part you want to bolt and fit.

How's the rest of the project going, you were rushing thro it so quickly I half expected to see you running it up the hill at Brooklands this weekend:D I'd love details of the gearbox mods once you have them finalized for future reference (y)

Now I have decent tyres on the car I opened her up for the first time breifly yesterday. Wow, she's got some pickup and go (with a hint of torque steer)  :D :D :D , just need to get that anti-roll bar now (and maybe fit some lowering springs) (y) cheers Damon

Thanks for the replys. I think moving the rack is out of the question. I don't have time to be mucking about with new steering column bits, etc. Shame. I'll probably just get some lowering springs and be done with it!

Not quite ready yet! Although I will be sprinting up Shelsley Walsh hill climb next Saturday in my Westfield to make up for it. I will of course share my mods with the forum as they come and I will do a sumamry of parts required when done- something I would have appreciated, so others will I'm sure.
I think I will post the project Panda stuff in that thread to keep it all together.
