Styling LED Fog lights

As most of you may know, the LED DRL's in the EVO won't work without them flickering and showing warning messages on the dashboard :bang:

Well, from the display picture you can see I've got the blue LED side lights but wanting to get matching H11 LED fog lights. However, I'm not sure whether the same applies as the side lights with needing built in resistors/CANBUS bulbs. Can someone tell me whether you can get H11 LED fog lights without the resistors, and still working without the annoying flickering?

Just to let you know, are you aware blue lights on your car is illegal?

Why would you want LED fog lights anyway? They shouldn't be used unless in fog anyway which is very rare.

I use them as cornering lights, yes. I'm still waiting to find out whether they need to be CANBUS or I can go with the H11 LED's without the resistors. Would they work without resistors or just flicker?

simple test pull fog light out and unplug if you get no warning when you switch on the fogs

And they'll be even more pointless if turned to LED then.

OP, I take it you are making sure your LED conversions are 'E' marked, if not then they're not strictly legal, in addition to this whats your insurance co's view out of interest?

TBH its completely pointless Imo, if it ain't broke don't fix it etc etc.
