Leaky boot...really wet and mouldy.

Hi,

Posting the same message as before about a leaky boot. I think it's coming in from the passenger side back cluster.

Does anyone know how to fix this. I looked on the bravo guide but couldn't see any info.

Any help would be great thanks.

Also why do Bravo's have so many problems

Rear cluster is fairly easy to take out as I remember, I'd remove and check seals and replace, you will need to remove the bits of trim around the cluster to remove it I think but its all just screws and sockets

Another couple of things to check

1. The drainage holes in the boot. Lift the carpet up and check. They will be quite obvious
2. Is your rear wiper spray working? If not, it will be squirting water into the boot every time you try

Bravo's aint the only car with probs. All cars have probs.

Thanks I'll look for the drainage holes....I've recently had the rear wiper re-glued so it's definatley not that.



Do you know wat the plastic cap is under the carpet by the spare wheel. Looks a bit like a speaker cover???? It has a pre cut slot in the carpet??????

Just wondering what it was found it yesterday when changing my very flat, slashed tyre.

I will check for the drainage holes.... rear wiper was reglued a couple of months back and I don't think it's that. The water is located to the left hand side of the boot and under the spare wheel. When the wiper leak before the water was in the middle and inside the boot lock.

Also you don't happen to know what the plastic cover thing is in the boot...to the right hand side of the spare wheel. It looks like a small speaker and has a pre cut hole in the carpet....just curious???

I think thats to get access to the fuel filter.
Maybe wrong tho.
