General Leaking roof - Not Skywindow or sunroof version

I spent a couple of years with water dripping on my head from the ceiling of a Bravo so Im pleased that my Stilo has made me feel at home by springing its own leak. I wondered if anyone else has had this problem?

The roof lining is dripping with water around the two handles above the windows in the back, these are directly under the catches for roof racks to attach to, so Im guessing that the water is getting in here. Has anyone had much experience of dropping the roof lining out? Without a Haynes manual to go from it would be largely guess work and Stilos seem to be built 'headlights---roof lining---then everything else'.

I know its fairly common for skywindows to leak but this doesnt have one or a sun roof!
