£40 is certainly a lot to me! My fave recent purchase was a Philips DECT phone to replace my siemans one. £12 (!!!!) from Novatech, hundreds of features, previous selling price was £120 I think. Out of stock though

There have been a fair few sets come up recetly, like AIJ29's, i say hold on to your money and hunt for a bargain.
