My cinquecento on a 98plate seems different to most centos I've come across.. Most in breakers yards..for example: my steering wheel has the larger type centre with the horn buttons on either side. It also has a different (Seicento?) Handbrake cable. Mine does not have the cable bolted to a bracket with the adjustment on the threaded rod built into the cable. But instead my cable just hooks over a U shaped part which is connected to the adjuster rod connected directly to the base of the handbrake mechanism housed inside the plastic cover. Also mine only has two instrument stalks. One has the indicators and headlamps the other the wipers. Mine also, when new, didn't come with a temperature gauge! That's probably why I cooked the engine a few years ago due to a faulty thermostat. I very quickly upgraded my basic dash to that of an SX model with temperature gauge and an on dash switch to turn the cooling fan on/off. So did Fiat start using Seicento parts on the last of the Cinquecento models? (As I worked for Austin Rover I know they did mix and match parts at the time of an 'upgrade' to their cars. Cheers all ..nick..
