last hurdle need help!

i bought an new bumper a few weeks ago sprayed it smoothed it and meshed it looks great (if i dont sy so myself) but getting the old one off is proving difficult. ive got all the fixings off apart from 2 one under each headlight im guessing. how do i get these off didn't bring my haynes manual to uni arrhhh! cheers for any help!

Undo the headlights, I thought they were just to the side of the headlight though, have you removed the screws from the arches, 2 bolts from the pillars underneath in front of eachwing, and a few others

yeah done all that took the arches right out to get at them all. its just hanging on by the fixings by the headlight. how do i get the headlight out i undid the 2 bolt on top of them but they still wont budge

As per haynes manual...

"Undo the upper mounting bolts...

Carefully withdraw the headlight unit from the front of the car and release the outer location ball from its socket with a suiable lever..."

I'm sure i just pulled mine hard and they came out...

wicked cheers mate! i'll see how it goes. what about the fixing for the bumper under the headlight is that just another screw or something?

From memory its just one 10mm bolt under each headlight...

Yeah the headlight has to be pulled towards to center of the engine bay as it clips into a beacket on the inner side of the wing, When you put it back in remember to ensure this clicks back into place or else the movement motors on your headlight will go mental when you change the opsition as i found out
