Laserline \ flashpoint alarm siren not working

Hi, I have a laserline aka Flashpoint alarm system.

I recently had some welding done to the seals, and disconnected the battery etc.

I noticed afterwards when I tried to arm the system, that no audio siren beep was heard. However the lights were flashing.

I tried the panic button, and again the hazard lights flash, but no audio siren!

Tried disconnecting\reconnecting battery...still no arming beeps or panic siren etc

I'm thinking that the battery backup is dead which might be causing the siren to malfunction. TBH, i haven't got a clue.

Any ideas? Cheers

first thing i would do is connect the siren directly to the battery to see if it sounds.if not then its just the siren thats dead
