Can I disable the lane change function on the indicator stalk on my 2016 Ducato motorhome? It flashes five times at the slightest touch, and I can very seldom dip the headlights without accidentally activating it.
I'll happily change the stalk assembly if this is the only way.

if you work it out let us know i modified my driving style isnt much of an issue now another thing if you find an easy way to put on the parking lights your onto a winner its just 2 of the inbilt quirks of the van Cheers Adam

I believe you press the button located near/on the ignition switch to activate the sidelights.....check your handbook for the sequence.

On my 2013 euro 5 the sidelights are activated by turning the light switch to the ON position [common side/headlight position] with the ignition OFF.

My 2012 Euro5 has this feature, its a real pain, I tend not to use high beam because I very rarely manage to dip without indicating. When I have time I will take the switch off to see if it can be modded. So if I have any success I will post the info on here.

What feature..??

the lane changer is o.k.,
just takes a little getting used to..,

not had the issue with the main beam operating the indicators though.

it's probably possible to switch off the "lane changer" function in the ECU / body computer.
