Hi
I have a 2001 Fiat Ducato 1.9td Hymer motorhome conversion. The driver's side orange front indicator bulb is not working so I need to access it to replace it. How does the clear plastic housing release from the vehicle please? I can see and pull the thin wire at the rear of the unit, under the bonnet that would appear to be attached to some sort of release mechanism, but how then dose the unit come away from the vehicle so I can access the bulb. Visibility and access is limited due to the battery and I don't want to break any tabs.
Many thanks

Hi, The wire clip is all that holds the light fitting in. However, in a van of that age the rubber seal will be stuck to the bodywork. Also, there are 2 plastic lugs that fit into the bodywork. Try a kettle of hot water to try to break the seal and a bit of GENTLE wiggling. The rear view shows the lugs. They break easily so beware. All the Best, Ian.

Hi me again, Prior to me sending my reply there was a rear view of the light posted by rayc. It seems to have disappeared. Anybody know why?
