Classic sign of valve stem oil seals, especially smoking on over run

I'm afraid I can't be much help as I've never had a car with serious engine problems, but you might like to try the Tipo and Coupe sections as I'm pretty certain the engine in the Delta HPE, is very close to those in the Coupe 16v and Tipo Sedicivalvole.

Hope you get it sorted, keep us posted please.

First of all thank you for your replies... well i guess i got confused and by saying i changed the ''Piston rings" i meant the "Valve stem oil seals" , excuse me for that but im not that familiar in naming those parts in English....my bad.

so changed the Valve stem oil seals and nothing happened, the smoke still exist... so i guess im down to 2 options... piston rings, or Pcv... i'll keep you up-to-date and let you know what was the problem when i figure it out...

Btw... Is it worth is to replace the Piston rings?...

i recently Swapped the Stock turbo engine with the Integrale 2.0 turbo engine...and did some work to the cranks...+ replaced the t3 turbo with a T3/T4 garrett...the engine has a low mileage but no idea where the smoke is coming from... you think in ur experience that it's worth it to fix the piston rings if it happen to be the problem?...

thank u .

If smoking on overrun cant see it being piston rings, still suspect valve seals and or worn valve guides, mind how is the breather system, have seen the unit bolted to block totally blocked with carbon, not allowing engine to breath, forcing oil into the bores, would check all avenues before changing rings.
