was looking under my car today, 1998 hgt. saw what i thought was the lambda sensor.
it was on the exhaust pipe after manifold and down pipe but before the cat. shaped like a cylinder stuck in the pipe with cables running to it.
someone will correct me if im wrong. i hope.

Fiat are sods for changing things.
last year I got a replacement front pipe from a breakers off a HGT and when finally I came to swopping them over, the sensor was mounted as pictured down near the cat. On my 99 reg, the sensor is fitted up near the bend on the front.
had a stainless steel one made in the end.
