Was trying to fix an issue with my indicators, all driver side ones weren't working.I replaced both relays in bcm and big shocker,'both' indicators now don't work, waahaay!
But,bigger shocker is that my keys are now not recognised by the car??Lock symbol on dash, car turns over but doesn't start.
Can keys go out of sync having the battery and the BCM disconnected for a week or so?

Hi
That's why i would of gone to a garage to sort this out!
Now you have made things even worse as you will now might have to now
It might be due to a new component being fitted and the ECU does not know what it is and has done what yo have described
ECU's are sensitive to Change, even fitting the wrong wattage bulb can be an issue
Take it to an auto electrician and let them sort it

This may be worth a try, take off the battery earth,
go have a brew for half a hour, switch side lights to on,
and then in one movement to try to stop any arcing
put the earth back see if that works.
There is likely a way to re sync the key but I don't know
it for your car.
If it fails try putting the org relays back.

I've been on a vehicle technician course for 2 years, where's the fun in giving it to someone else? :)Throwing a whole new BCM in a car off another car, fair enough, you'd expect key problems, but only 2 relays, think that's quite interesting, considering i was replacing same with same.
I've been learning about key cutting programming too so i'm prepared to dig myself out the hole i've dug.
I find it interesting how you can get away with certain things on cars but not on others.
For the record there's a guy on youtube done same repair on 'his' Doblo regarding indicator relays, which was my reference.

The only thing i wasn't 100% sure of is there were two relays on the circuit board, one blue, one black.I could find no data about whether just one of these relays that solders on is operating right 'and' left indicators(replaced the two of them to rule out missing the faulty one)or the case may have been one relay is for right indicators, one for left ones(again, replace two of them just in case)
I checked all fuses and they were fine a while back.
I'm going to try two things, one i've ordered two brand new relays to solder on to my original bsi*bcm),if that fails i'vejust ordered another bsi module to try,and i'll clone the old one to it.
