Technical Key fob flashing and locking/unlocking car

A few times i've noticed the key fobs red light flashing and its constantly unlocking and locking the car when its within the close enough range to do so (without being touched), is it the battery or something else?

have you got another remote key.. ? to see if it's the KEY itself or another factor

its a 58 reg dynamic panda

i don't have another remote key, just a "basic" key, i've had to move the fob out of range of the car and lock it with the other key.

The internal switches are making contact. The fob will need to be dismantled carefully and the errant contacts cleaned. There was a similar issue with a Bravo I think recently.

Meanwhile, just take the battery out and use it as a non-remote.
