When I say key code I mean security code to login to the ecu and program the key.

It only matters about rolling code when copying the key.

And I have a silca sbb clone that clearly states punto 99- (canbus) and attempts to login to my punto but I haven't got the code from fiat.

Yes please do tell.
I went to timpsons today, and they can cut the key but cannot code it as it is code 2. They said and I quote "you need to speak to the fiat dealership for that".

You are not copying the key, you programming a new key into the ecu.

You need to go to fiat for the key card which contains two numbers one is the key code which an autolocksmith will be able to cut a new key from if you have lost the key, and a code that allows you to login to the ecu and then you can program keys.

Well if someone knows if fiat will get me the code for my car I try it, but my ecu isn't off my car originally so I dont know if I can get it for my ecu? I've got the number plate for the car its off if that helps.
