My new subwoofer and the eagle eye led's which i will use for my new reverse lights.
I will mount them next to the rear number plate lights so they wont show but when reverse is selected give a nice glow to the ground area or even maybe within the number plate.
Joined a Cyprus Alfa Romeo and Fiat members club last week and they have a meeting this coming weekend so said I will be joining the group for the day.
Will be driving through a few mountainous villages and then stopping for a meal, chat and having time to look at each others cars.
Should be fun and seems like the other group members are looking forward to meeting and seeing the B up close.
Uhm! Need to get a few things sorted so the next few days will be busy.
Had the last few days to sort some bits out on the B.
Fitted new fog lights.
New clear side indicators with orange led bulbs.
New 400n uprated shock absorbers for hood and rear tail gate
Rear carpet behind seats.
New front number plates holder (Porsche 996) and plates being made.
Oli, The 400n shocks are replacements for the hood, The rear has a little more push but I never had that made to 400n. Maybe I should have.
The hood is so easy to lift to close although I have to push it down to get the material clips in place.
Fitted a new front number plate holder. Its from a Porsche 996, lighter than the standard metal holder, fits perfectly around the B's bumper and at just 10 euro so a great modification.
Fitted a Black plate to the rear which I think looks great, but got a telling off today so will have to switch back
Heres a few pics of the initial clean up, my plan is to have the head ported and polished with new high lift cams, springs and retainers and matched to the inlet and exhaust manifolds.
Hiya Demy,
Thanks! The B is looking much smarter now. Funny enough I just had the B on the rolling road last weekend for a couple of runs and the power is actually down, The graph shows the air flow and vacuum is off , and I believe this is because I have too much air going in and I also removed the catt
There's lots of air going in, but without the cylinder head allowing this much flow and the reduced back pressure in the exhaust, I would accept the map to be off and the power to be down. I,m not fully finished with the induction and a remap should hopefully improve things again.
I'm having a cylinder head reworked to flow much better and with new cams, together with the new induction this should work well and get much better power gains.
Re-working my induction kit and here's some pics of the process, its not finished yet but you should get an idea of what I,m planing.
I,m building a scoop to create a ram air effect straight into the filter.
also have an idea to sink into the rear panel a drinks tray holder, when closed it flush with the panel and when open allows a drink or cup to be held.

I check your project by a longer time (before a make registration on this forum), is very nice work. :worship:
I see your hardtop is complete.
I would ask if you have been remove the sealing on window? If yes how you put in again inside.
How you put the sealing behind the glass corner (between glass and silicone glue)?
As far as I know, the Glass is cut away with a blade and then resealed with the correct glue. I had a professional windscreen company do mine. Just paid 20euro.
