Decided to replace my spark plugs today and thought i,d try the Denso iridium, , While i had the top rocker cover off, i noticed a slight seeping of oil from the rocker cover so pulled that off too. Quite supprised how clean the B was under the cover. No signs of any unwanted gunk. regular oil changes seems to do the trick. The B feels smoother and strangely seems to sound different too since the plug change. Would reccomend them.
Only on the intake cam, you can still fit one on the exhaust cam side. Dont know how much help it would be when having the engine mapped but its a shinny part so you just have to love it heheh
The reason the variator controls the inlet cam is that you can gain more power from adjusting the inlet timing than the exhaust timing. Even when you get bigger valves, it is rare that the exhaust valve diameter will be changed much if at all. Where as the inlet diameter is usually changed depending on application.
thanks guy's, I,ve been wanting to do that for a while now, spoiler insert looks fab and i prefer the smaller plate but might just go back to having it sprayed matt black again. The work has slowed a little here too hence i havent managed to get the turbo mod done, but i can do these little mods.
I,d like to tint the indicaters a smoked black next, think it should just set the front off nicely and give her a more modern look.
